Free Disclosures

Free Disclosures takes a completely new approach to residential real estate reports. Why should customers pay for data that’s free? This core question laid the foundation for developing the Free Disclosures brand positioning. We developed four core brand tenets: 1) Free Disclosures is an advocate for the consumer, 2) Free Disclosures is all about transparency—free data will be free, 3) consumer data is secure and confidential, and 4) the experience is speedy—ordering takes a minute, and you’ll get your report in a few hours.

We carefully planned out the customer experience from interest, to order, to delivery of product. To make the mission statement of “free data must be free” true, we designed and developed a fully automated e-commerce experience for the customer. Part of that planning exercise considered all aspects of the customer experience, from pre and post log in, automated email communications for every customer touch point, user flow, content, and navigation.

Website

Research informed us that customers need their reports rapidly, and that the information should be easy to read. These insights drove our e-commerce site planning and design. With the opportunities clearly defined, we began considering various areas of the site, including navigation, content, layout, user flow, and database structure. Content is succinct and simple while clearly communicating the brand’s mission. The UI and UX are easy to use and uncluttered. Customers can order a report in seconds, and they can access their reports from any device.

Video

As part of our plan to make the ordering process as easy and automated as possible, we developed a short how-to video to demonstrate the simplicity of the Free Disclosures ordering process. Users are alerted when their report is ready. With one click, they can access their account, preview their report, and download it wherever or whenever they need it.

Brand Identity

We extended the visual language from the identity into iconography and illustrations that reinforced a consistent brand experience.
